SCN Camp Safety & Security Training Program

 

The Secure Community Network is pleased to provide, in partnership with Critical Information Network, the Camp Safety and Security Training Program now accessible online through a state-of-the-art learning management system, allowing for immediate and unlimited access 24 hours a day. The Camp Training Program, produced in collaboration with The Redwoods Group, is being offered to all Jewish day and resident camps free of charge.

 

Please follow the steps below to gain access to the training video modules and accompanying worksheets.

  • Follow this link – http://www.criticalinfonet.com/cinow-login.php – to the Critical Information Network login page.
  • Enter the following information into the appropriate fields exactly as it appears and click the box titled ‘Click to Enter’:

User Name:    camp.view

Password:      view 

  • You will then be brought to another page.  Under the heading ‘Main Catalog’ click the link titled ‘Launch
  • After clicking ‘Launch’ another browser window should open and you will be brought to the main menu page for the training. 

The Main Menu page (image below) is where you can access all of the printed materials and videos to conduct the training.  In the Course Materials section, you can access and print the Instructor’s Guide, Incident Examples, Staff Worksheet, and Camp Training Certificate.  In the Course Presentation section, all of the training videos are listed in order as they appear in the Instructor’s Guide.  The Help section provides information if you are having technical difficulty running the videos.  The Feedback section is where you can provide your suggestions about the training, and finally, an About section to give you more information about CiNet, our partner who is hosting the Camp Training. 

 

Before you begin the training, please print all of the accompanying documents located in the Course Materials section accessed through the Main Menu.  Detailed directions for preparing the training class are located in the beginning of the Instructor’s Guide.  Once you have all the materials ready, you can access the training videos through the Course Presentation section from the Main Menu.  Simply click on Part 1: Introduction to start the video.  The video can be made full screen by double clicking in the video window.  All controls for the video (play, pause, stop) are located on the bottom toolbar of the media player.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Technical System Requirements – If you are having difficulty playing the videos, please make sure that you have the minimum system requirements listed below which are necessary to do so.  The Help section of the Main Menu also provides additional assistance if you are having difficulty accessing the videos.
